Comments about 2nd Skin Blister Pads, 5 ea: Best Solution for the Prolem that I've found. When seasons change & so does the type of shoe I wear, or a pair of new shoes that are not carefully chosen hiking shoes/boots, these are my lifesavers. I have very sensitive feet and blister easily, until my feet "toughen up" to the shoe I wear. I also can perspire a lot with exertion and of course, shower to match that. I found that these will stay on through all of that. If you find that they don't stay on, make sure your skin is completely dry before you apply the dressing. If your skin is wet at all, it won't stay on. Then leave it for at least 3 days. It only works on blisters that have lost the outside skin & have that vulnerable, painful skin exposed. For the hiker's problem: I HAVE FELT YOUR PAIN! But this is still part of the best solution I've found. I put an extra large bandaid or adhesive tape over the dressing, then a good pair of thick hiking socks. That solves the chafing and rubbing problem. If that blistering persists, you probably need a new pair of hiking boots. Make sure the heel fits right: it should not rub up and down on your foot with hiking socks on when you walk. Comments about 2nd Skin Blister Pads, 5 ea: These do stay on for days in the center, where it counts, and the product works. The edges of the bandage come up. I trim off most of the edge except for a thumbwide area for easy removal. I find this helps. Comments about 2nd Skin Blister Pads, 5 ea: These might be okay in ideal conditions, with clean, dry skin and no further rubbing of the blister, but I was horribly disappointed with their performance in a dire situation. I got a blister on my heel the first day of a 6-day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon. These blister patches would not stay on, and I had to keep hiking. Ended up with a very deep and painful wound on my heel. (1 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? It stayed on my foot very well and the blister is now gone. I like the fact that it is very thin. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
