We use the on the back of our basement door to hang a mesh laundry bag. It holds all of the laundry as we add to it during the week and hasn't fallen down yet! I took off one star b/c it does look cheaper than older/other versions. Besides that we like it.

I bought this hook about a year ago and have not had any problems. The hook itself is made of plastic but has the look of polished metal. It is very important to read the directions. Make sure you know where you want to place the hook and clean that area thoroughly with alcohol. I have hung a hanging file on this hook (about 8 pounds) with no problems. Prepping the area is key. I would recommend this product strongly.

I put this up in the bathroom to hold my bathrobe. It was very easy to attach to my tile wall, and so far, it's held up my bathrobe without any trouble. This is the first time that I use this product, and I hope that the removal process will be as simple as indicated in the instructions, but I can't speak to that just yet.

Ok after 6 months of these falling off every time they were put up and the adhesive replaced even we gave up. However they were nice enough looking and small which was just right for our intended use...that I asked my husband to drill a hole through them and hang them with a recessed wood screw. He did and now they stay up....but they are very heavy and the adhesive on our wood walls would not hold. I tried switching them to a tall dresser too and still no go they wouldn't stay stuck. I bought 3 of these at the local hardware store on clearance but still didn't want to junk them if I could help it. I use some of the plastic versions and guess what no problem they are light enough weight to hang in there I guess despite what we put on them. Just a design failure with the heavy metal ones.

This hook was installed on the side of a tall metal desk. It holds heavy coats and hasn't fallen after a few years of use. It looks less cheap than the white hooks (which work just as well). I've had success in removing the white hooks; this uses the same adhesive so I expect it will remove successfully too once the time comes.

I bought some Command 3M Steel Hooks a couple of years ago and love them; I use them to hang different objects (some very heavy) all over the house. I thought these hooks were the same...they look the same in the photo but that's where the similarity ends. These hooks are plastic-like and cannot hold much weight. The adhesive is also not very strong. In fact, I tried to hang very light objects and the hooks fell off the wall. These hooks were right next to a couple of the sturdier, more attractive hooks I bought a couple of years ago so the wall and the objects were not the problem.
