Comments about 3M Command Strips Damage-Free Hanging: General Purpose Designer Hook Set, 2 small / 2 medium hooks:
They are pretty sturdy looking hooks, but I have two male dogs, so I was hoping they would hold up to hanging training pads on the furniture without marking or making holes.
I was afraid they would loosen or fall after time, but I've had them up for a while, and they haven't loosened, yet. I layer pee pads on the floor where the dogs sometimes go when they don't get outside, and I used these hooks to hang a pee pad to catch the pee from when they lift their legs.
They are holding the pads great. I put two hooks about 20 inches or so apart, then I make little holes in a fresh pee pad and hang it.
Granted, I have two small dogs--a jack russell mix and a papillon/pomeranian mix--but it holds up to repeated use, and also when they slide across or crash into them when playing.
I'm very impressed and the hooks save me time, because I'm not cleaning up after the dogs as much! Highly recommend.
Clean Surface - use isopropyl rubbing alcohol, wipe lightly, let dry. Do Not use household cleaners.
Apply Strip - remove red Command™ Adhesive liner. Align square end with raised line on back of hook. Press firmly.
Press Firmly! - remove black "wall side" liner. Position hook and press entire hook firmly for 30 seconds.
Wait 1 hour before use.
To Remove Hooks and Base:
Slide Hook Cover up - reveal mounting base and removal tab.
Grab Removal Tab - to prevent base from snapping your fingers, hold base as shown. Do Not press base against wall. Never pull the strip out at an angle. Strip could break or damage the surface.
Slowly slide the tab straight down against the wall - stretching the strip at least 6 inches (15cm) for small hooks, 12 inches (30 cm) for medium hooks until mounting base releases from the wall. Hooks can be reused with Command™ Adhesive Small and Medium Strips.
Note: Apply to surfaces above 50°F (10°C). Adhesive could often and lose adhesion above 105°F (40°C).
