This has been a life saver for me as far as getting me through the day. I use to drag myself home from work barely able to get in the door, I tried the 5 hour regular and it wired me so I couldnt sleep, when i heard there was a decaf version I immediately thought of Drugstore.com, and sure enough they had it. I can take it when most needed in early afternoon, and I'm set the rest of the day. Love this stuff.

I am a 1st grade teacher. My morning cup of Jo perks me up & warms the body, but I need all the help I can get from after lunch to dismissal.

My dad & I first tried 5 Hour Energy (shared a regular) on a weekend 'just to see'--WOW! We ended up laying a room of flooring in a whole day (vs. the expected 2-day-weekend-job). No heart racing, dizziness, crash...JUST LIKE THE COMERCIALS!

YES, this product has caffeine HOWEVER so does decaf coffee!! Decaf 5-Hour Energy has 1/2 the caffeine AS A CUP of DECAF coffee. When I saw 'decaf' was an option I was even more excited!! Granted, the regular only has the = of 1 cup of coffee...my body (our bodies) shouldn't ingest more than 1 cup's worth daily--the less, the better!

As for flavor, the citrus is not bad. VERY strong on the lime, which I am not opposed to, but if you have acid issues this may be troublesome. I equate it to Margarita Mix concentrate--from the bottle (no ice, no salt, no alcohol, just mix).
The other flavor I've tried is Pomegranate. A lot more subtle. A refreshingly fruity zest, as well.

the same amount of caffeine that is in
Extra Strength 5 Hour Energy.

This is the decaf version. I felt a lot more energy with the caffeine version.

convenient to carry & use...no caffine...works on a daily use...my husband will not take it because of the taste...need to make more flavors without caffine!!!!

Not meant to be used too regularly. If I go a stretch of 3 times in a short period of time, my body will pretty much ignore it by dose number three and demand more sleep and relaxation. But for a decaf drinker to get the occasional kickstart, it works like a champ.

I take this after work when I have things to get done. Regular would keep me up past bed time. I find it works great and no side effects. I would recommend it.

Product has been very helpful in eliminating daytime fatigue and need for naps. Does not interfere with night time sleeping unless taken in the late evening, but who would?.
