When the five hours is up, you don't realize it because there is not a "coming down" effect. I highly recommend this product far above any of it's competitors. VS Most Liked Negative Review OK, but cannot give me the kick I need. I like the 5 Hour Energy drink mainly because they taste good but they do not produce the same effect in me as they might have at one time. My energy level barely moves. As for expense the generic knockoffs taste even worse than 5-Hour. So, if you are not the do-it-yourself type, then 5-Hour is for you. Provide a bit more energy than a regular 5 hour energy and I only had to drink half the bottle. Definitely will recommend and will purchase over a regular strength 5 hour energy.
