After working all day at a hectic pace sometimes its hard to make myself get up and go when I get home. If I'm feeling worn-out and I know I need energy to keep me going for that after work workout I'll take one around 3:00 PM, its gives me that extra boost and it doesn't keep me awake later at night. I don't get a fake "buzzed" feeling - but a natural energy that allows me keep moving and on the go when I need too.

This stuff is a staple in my house. I like to keep them around for the Sunday afternoon slump and those Friday nights that I feel like staying home yet I have to go out a socialize. There is nothing fun about feeling sleepy. The grape flavor is good. I think I still like berry the best but it's a close second. It's way better than the lemon-lime flavor (not a fan of that one).

I'll start off by saying that I prefer the berry flavor over grape. It takes about 30 minutes or so to start to feel the effects of the energy shot, but overall it's great. Doesn't make you feel jittery or hyped up like coffee does, it just provides a good level of energy without a crash course come down. Plus, you can't beat 4 calories.

I've been waiting for another flavor in the extra strength. So happy it was GRAPE!! Love it! This is so much better than the "other" energy drinks...

Am a proponent of the regular 5 Hour Energy, so gave this Grape "Extra Strength" rendition a try. It did hte trick nicely, was able to do gym routine in a.m, full 10 hour day at work, and a full 8 hour birthday celebration bar hopping afterwares. Took the 5 Hour Energy @ 3 pm. Will buy again!

I used this extra strength 5-hour energy on a 4 1/2 hour drive across the state of Washington. It worked great!

I was feeling a little sluggish when I left after a long work week, so I took 1/2 the bottle (since it was my first time using it), then about an hour later I took the rest of it. It didn't make me jittery or anything, it just provided me enough energy and attention to last the long drive.

At the end of my drive, there were some very exticed and high-energy youngsters waiting for me and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there wasn't a crash or anything after 5 hours.
