I bought two of these to try and I like this product because it can be used on wet skin. Most scrubs have lots of oil and adhere better when the skin is dry. This adheres better when you are wet.

Be careful with this rub because it can burn and even I found that surprising because I do not have sensitive skin.

This product came without a protective film so perhaps it was old. It was very granular and dry, like coarse sugar. It was not moisterizing at all, as was claimed in its description.

I use this scrub in the shower, it really is very good at softening & exfoliating dry, scaly skin. It is fabulous for rubbing away rough spots on feet. It smells wonderful. Leaves my skin silky smooth & young looking. It is a salt, volcanic ash & oil scrub so it will leave a residue in the tub. It is abrasive so do not rub too hard & I would not use on the face.

I use the scrub while in the shower as an exfoliant and moisturizer. What I really love about this scrub that's different from others is that the container is not full of oil. The application of the salt is drier than what you'd expect. BUT the oils are in the sea salt and the results have been incredibly beneficial for my dry winter skin. This is a product I use all year round however.
