I got the orange flavor even though I ordered lemon. It's ok though; the aftertaste, when cold, is like an orange dreamsicle. Not bad for this kind of product, as no carb/protein drink is going to be delicious. It has been great on long runs up to 12 miles so far. I haven't needed any other nutritional supplement and I don't feel like I'm starving when I finish my run.

Accelerade is THE sports drink that all should follow. I'm sold on the 4:1 carb-protein ratio and the fact they use sugar vs corn syrup like other brands do. If you can find bottled Accelerade it is much better. The powder mixes better if the water is warm then finish off with ice cubes and refrigerate. It's good to mix large bottles then pour into smaller ones for daily use. It will settle so shake often. The flavors could use a little help but if it's flavor you want then buy sweet syrupy soft drinks. Just wish I could find Accelerade locally . . . .

Not a bad product so far. I play soccer and I do feel the hydration and some energy. Its a very light drink and does not sit heavy like brand sports drinks can. I recommend it.

Be aware that this will not taste like your average sports drink. It will taste like a mix between an isotonic drink and gatorade. You will taste the protein because it tastes a little chalky. Other than that, I'm not sure if really does help out too much b/c I'm not really doing super endurance. I run about 5 miles at a stretch and my body doesn't seem to need an abundance of help before I hit a wall and feel it. I have noticed that it keeps me feeling good during all day Rugby tournaments.
