Chemical Name: ALBUTEROL (al-BYOO-ter-ole)
Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution is a bronchodilator used to treat or prevent the symptoms of asthma. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI), tricyclic antidepressants, blood pressure medicine (e.g., beta-blockers), and diuretics (e.g., furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide).
Follow the directions for using Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution provided by your doctor. AN ADDITIONAL PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET is available with Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this information. STORAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PRODUCT depends on the product that your doctor has prescribed. Consult your package labeling for instructions on how to store your medicine. DO NOT USE Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF ACCUNEB 0.63mg/3ml NEB. SOLUTION and you are using it regularly, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
DO NOT INCREASE YOUR DOSE without checking with your doctor. If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. ACCUNEB 0.63mg/3ml NEB. SOLUTION MAY CAUSE dry mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth. Rinsing your mouth with water after each dose may help relieve these effects. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF ACCUNEB 0.63mg/3ml NEB. SOLUTION IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution.
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while using Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution include nervousness, tremors, headache, difficulty sleeping, or nausea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience chest pain; fast or irregular heart beat; new or worsening wheezing; swelling of your hands, legs, face, lips, eyes, throat, or tongue; difficulty swallowing; or hoarseness. An allergic reaction to Accuneb 0.63mg/3ml Neb. Solution is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. SOLUTION out of the reach of children and pets. IF USING ACCUNEB 0.63mg/3ml NEB. SOLUTION FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
