They are great & very comfortable... soft & flexible. They easily conform to my knee & take up so little room in the freezer. Can't buy them locally-SIL got his following a serious leg injury. DrugStore.com had the best price & they were in stock. I ordered 3 so I could have a frozen one ready to use at any time. One month after receiving my new knee I still use them after my physical therapy. I can't say enough great things about this product & can't say anything at all that's "not so great". It's an XLNT product at any price....[...] VS Most Liked Negative Review Leaks gel These cold packs develop messy leaks, sometimes very soon after purchase – and, no, I do not sit on these packs, only holding in place on my legs with elastic bandages. The leaks develop around the edges where sealed. Some, but not all, leaked around what appears to be the final closing seal – as if the container was sealed all but an inch where the gel could be inserted and then sealed with a final seal. QUALITY CONTROL NEEDS IMPROVING. A recent purchase leaked within two weeks time. Reviewed by 39 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 5/23/2012 Ace Cold Compress Pros

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: My son is a collector of ice packs and ace bandages and so when he said he wanted to get this particular cold press I thought "just another one that is going to go to waste." I LOVE IT and I use it just as much if not more than he does to help with back pain, migraines or at night when I sleep temperature is too hot. I love that this product is SOFT and FLEXIBLE but STAYS COLD, but does NOT irritate my body or skin (think of ice sticking to your skin or rocky ice cubes). There really is nothing bad about this cold compress. I love it and am ordering another one to have on hand.

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: This is a great ice pack. The only problem is the last 3 I purchased earlier in the year starting leaking at the seam line. Ace needs to make sure that the seam line is sealed before this product leaves the factory.

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: This is a great ice pack to have for when you need one. I like that it is flat and flexible to fit where you need it. I have used them for years. However, the last ones I bought were not as well made as the earlier ones, and after a short time the gel began to leak out at a corner seam and I had to throw them away. This happened to the last 3 I bought. I hope I just got a bad batch. If it happens again to the 5 I am buying now, I will be asking for a refund, but mostly I will be very disappointed that this great product is no longer well made and that I will have to find something to replace it. I would have given this product 5 stars except for the leaking issue.

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: had a broken ankle and it was hard to conform to leg until half thawed. says apply directly to skin but cover would ice over and had to use cloth under. have used approx. 12 times and now leaks from seam.

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: Have always had foot problems. I bought three of these and keep in freezer for "instant" use. If I am on my feet too long causing swelling and burning, I can wrap each foot and elevate for 10 to 15 minutes for immediate pain relief. The Ace Cold Compresses are the only frozen compresses that are comfortable against the skin and it is a self-cover so there's no need to slip it into anything before putting next to skin. Service and delivery comments: Deliveries from drugstore.com are always prompt

Cons Best Uses Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: Does not stay cold very long and it takes longer to cool down in the freezer that other brands. I am sure this is safer than most to use, but for someone looking for relief from knee pain, i'd go elsewhere

Comments about Ace Cold Compress, Reusable, 1 ea: I seem to always need an ice pack & since I found this at the local drugstore I tossed the old ones. This conforms to whatever body part you need to put it on & I've put it to the test plenty trust me. Can't find locally any more so luckily on-line - too bad only one size though at least it's the larger one so I'm ordering a couple. I also have a smaller 1/2 size one. Hope they're not discounted to be discontinued and they should be back in the stores. The ones in the stores are stiff are hurt; they are hard plastic. Jan
