I tried to find this particular comb at several different stores and even went into a beauty supply shop without success. These combs stand up to being kept in pants pockets with items tough on them, such as car keyes. I like to keep a couple of spares in my dresser drawer, as well as one in my vehicles. These are the best pocket combs available, and have been for years.[...]

Durable Hard Rubber Fine Tooth Pocket Combs are impossible to find at [...] and other stores that should be carrying them. Mostly they offer little plastic combs that inevitably break while carrying them in one's back pocket, although they are available at cheap prices ... which is to say 'you get that for which you pay'!

Thin and Brittle. It broke almost immediately in my back pocket. Definately NOT a pocket comb.

I have used this particular comb for many, many years, but have not been able to find them in local drugstores for several years. Occasionally a tooth breaks, but I appreciate the hard rubber versus brittle, snagging plastic, and also the relatively wider spacing versus fine teeth. I don't need or want a comb with both. Teeth have enough depth to handle thicker hair (wider comb). I use it to detangle wet hair and style dry hair. GLAD TO HAVE FOUND THEM AGAIN!

I was looking for a fine-tooth comb from Goody. Their combs are nylon and last for many years. This comb showed up under a search for Goody, but it turned out to be a hard-rubber comb from Ace, an inferior product which will be shedding teeth in a month or two.

I expected drugstore.com to carry a wide assortment of Goody products (ever read the "Long Tail" theory?) and was disappointed.
