I keep my nails rather short and the blades on these are huge. There is not enough room under my nails to fit the front end of these clippers. If you wear your nails long then by all means these are serious clippers.

I'm a large man (6' 4", 275 lbs) and my nails are thicker than most. I've bought new clippers that struggled to cut them. These are the best I've found. They are comfortable and easy to use and do a great job. I've only used them a couple of times, so can't comment on long-term durability -- but they look like they will be very durable.

I use this for myself (fingers and toes), and for my toddler and 6-month old. Because it is ergonomically designed, I can hold it steady to snip tiny nails easier than my other clippers. Feels good in the hand, and is very sharp, so does a good job. Now if it could just catch clippings better, I'd give it 5 stars.

Over the years I've been looking for a decent clipper, one that is made well and stays sharp. I came across this one and thought I'd give it a try. I was impressed with the quality, but it is just too massive and hard to use as it takes a lot of effort to squeeze. I can't imagine how much more force it would take for the toenail version of this.
