My cats have not shown any interest in this product at all. They are older 16 and 5 years old but still like to play. Not sure if they will show more interest over time. Also the catnip which was purchased at the same time was opened and all over the box including the toy. The cats have not shown any interest in this new catnip either something they usually love.

My kitty likes the weight, size, and shape of this toy, but the catnip only lasted a day or two. He still plays with it once in a while...

All other toys are left laying around except for this one brand mouse even long after I am sure the catnip has lost it's potency. My cat "Gibbs" and my friends cat "Tanner" which I bought for is his best toy at his house also. They can bat at them and run in chase, pick them up easily and carry them and just have a really fun time!

Mouse is nicely made and better quality than most similar toys, but I really can't smell any catnip. My cats apparently can't either because they show no interest in it whatsoever and they usually go nuts for catnip. My Shih Tzu thinks it's fabulous though! Since she's not a chewer it seemed safe enough to let her carry it around.

Our older cat plays ONLY with these mice. She has five of them, and she stalks them, walks around with them in her mouth while meowing, brings them into our bed at night and will wake up from a nap to play with them. She's territorial about them though--if our younger cat comes near her when she has one, she hisses and growls and protects her catch. These guys last forever--one even went through the washing machine (one of the ones she brought to our bed!) and came out good as new. A really great cat toy if you have a huntress/hunter in your house.

I have four indoor cats that love playing with toy mice. But, they were not phased by this toy. I am thinking that it might be too big for them. They are used to the very tiny toy mice and this is much larger. Even after rubbing some dried cat nip (that they love!) all over the mouse, they still did not play with it. I read the reviews that many cats loved this toy and I was hoping that mine would, but that has not been the case.

She never goes anywhere in the house without this! She carries it around like a real mouse, and tosses it and plays with it all day. she even brings it into bed and I find it under my pillow. she also carries it to the food dish, to her bathroom, and to her own bed. I've got to buy another one for a spare, because if she is without it, I'm afraid she will really get upset. this immediately became her favorite toy, and she plays with nothing else. I highly recommend it!!!
