I use it for its intended use. My sons butt. Its really the only thing i use to get rid of and prevent diaper rashes. I like it much better then any of the creams out there. I clears up a rash in a day or so. It does smell pretty gross as stated in other reviews.

I bought this product for myself, upon reading the reviews about how great it works for cracked skin. After using it a few times, it doesn't seem to work miracles as some reviews claimed. It does have some soothing effects. I like that it's not greasy. Looks like using it daily consistently will show more healing effects.

I gave this product a low rating mainly because of its smell. The smell reminds me of cows in the barn. The package shows no expiration date. So I'm not sure if the smell is intended to be like that. I found other products with much better smell and with similar soothing effects.

Although this ointment is generally used for diaper rash, I read a medical column that advised using it for painful cracked skin on the fingers. I tried it, and it works.
