I am very addicted to chocolate, and this helps beat my morning craving. Obviously not as wonderfully tasty as expensive chocolates, but with the calcium, Vit. D, and magnesium it makes up for it. I bought it a while ago, and then drugstore.com stopped stocking it. Today I searched for it on a whim. It is in a new package now, I really hope they didn't change their recipe as I'm stocking up! It's enough to make me not want to take them. This does not happen with Adora. This product was recommended to me by a nutritionist and she was correct-- they're excellent and they'll make you want to take your calcium/vitamin D. So compared to say, Dove Dark Chocolate, these would fall short but as a dietary supplement they taste just fine. When I'm trying to cut back on my dark chocolate consumption (which is all the time, actually) I make sure to keep these around to satisfy that craving, and allow myself 2 a day. Admission number 2: sometimes I put a dab of Smart Choice peanut butter on them and my craving is satisfied AND THEN SOME! For being a supplement, I think these are a very good tasting way to make sure you get enough calcium. Because I've let other teachers in my teacher's lounge sample them, they've started searching my lunch bag for them! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? They're expensive, but they actually taste like a pretty good piece of chocolate. Because of the price, I use these supplements on days when my calcium intake from milk and other dairy products has been low, but I think they are well worth the cost and far preferable to swallowing a large calcium pill.
