After reading several comments from cat owners regarding fleas and treatment options, I decided to heed the recommendation of others. I like to use an alternate treatment every month for all 3 cats. In other words, one month I will use Advantage, the following month will use a different product, then use Advantage the next month. So I use Advantage every other month. I like to alternate using Frontline and BioSpot-I find all three to be most effective in killing and controlling fleas.

I have two cats, and this product didn't seem to bother them at all. But it hasn't lasted the whole month that it says it will. While I thought I was getting a good deal because there were 4 in a pack instead of 3, now I am not so sure. Maybe my cats weigh more than recomended.

I have tried all the flea products over the years and this is by far the best. My cat is now almost 17 and I now use the smaller weight on him as the one for heavier cats seems to harsh for him now. He is right on the border weight wise and this lower weight one works fine for him.

I switched to this brand as I had been using the other brand on my indoor/outdoor cat for a few years and it not only had gotten to be totally ineffective I was sure it was irritating her skin badly. I read the reviews and saw that other pet owners had success with this brand especially if they had cats with sensitive skin/allergies. I saw results right away and I have used it every month since purchase and my cat is no longer showing the skin irriation she used to and no longer plagued by fleas. I hope it keeps working like it is now - only time will tell. For now I have a VERY happy cat!

This flea treatment is effective but I fear perhaps toxic. My cats get lethargic for 24 hours after getting dosed. So I have had great success with using it only at the first sign of fleas -- and not on a regular schedule. I use it whenever I see flea "dirt" -- basically flea feces as little back curly specs in my cats' bedding that turns red when wet. I can go for sometimes 6 months without fleas. This saves me money and saves my cats exposure to some very strong nerve toxins.

Tried Advantage instead of using Program - BIG Mistake! Made my cat start pulling out her hair in big clumps. Had to get a topical to sooth her skin and relieve the terrible reaction she experienced. Will NEVER purchase this product again!

This product is better working then the store brands. The price on here is a good one. I have found one has to find the product that works best on their pets.
