I have always had dogs and cats, rescued so many in all stages of age and health and have always felt safe using the original Advantage and has never let me down. I know lots of chemicals have to be rotated every so often to prevent resistance but I have never done that with Advantage and it has always worked to my expectations.

I've tried all different kinds of flea prevention & nothing has worked as consistently without fail as Advantage. It does wash off if you bathe your pet too soon after applying it, however, it has never failed to kill all the fleas on my animals (I have six dogs ranging i all sizes). Bath timing is critical to this product consistently working. It's the most effective flea control on the market.

Advantage works so much better than any other flea med I have purchased/tried. It works quickly and thoroughly. My older dog has never had a problem with it. His younger sister always ends up having to rub her nose on something after it is applied. Whatever that means! I am completely sold on this product!

We had used Frontline for many years, and about a year ago, it's effectiveness decreased dramatically. I was finding 3 to 4 fleas on each dog every day. After one application of Advantage, I have seen no fleas. Also, it doesn't seem to bother my dog's skin.
