Comments about Advil Congestion Relief, Coated Tablets, 20 ea:
I often suffer from sinus inflammation, congestion, and headaches but I don't have the cough, chest congestion, fever, runny nose, or itchy eyes that normally come along with it.
I had not been able to find a product that only treated my symptoms until I found this one.
I take it as recommended because it really does stop working after 4-6 hours. However, I take it before going to bed and I no longer wake up with swollen sinus membranes that make my eyes swell shut and secrete goop!!
Comments about Advil Congestion Relief, Coated Tablets, 20 ea:
This product offers nothing different in terms of active ingredients than other OTC products that try and treat nasal congestion with the chemical phenylephrine. The pill also gives Advil another way to hawk their principal product, ibuprofen. If you regularly suffer from sinusitis or nasal allergies, don't use this product. Like other chemically based OTCs--including nasal sprays--that try to treat congestion, you can't take them too long or your congestion will only get worse. Instead, consider using the combined supplement Quercetin & Bromelain (available online or health food stores); however, check with your doctor before trying any treatment option. Most physicians in the US know little or nothing about supplements in general, but they'll try to make sure there are no contraindications with medications you're taking. A pharmacist may also do this check for you.
Comments about Advil Congestion Relief, Coated Tablets, 20 ea:
I have chronic sinusitis/sinus infections. I need something to releive my nasal swelling so that I can breathe freely and have a good night's sleep. This medication is supposed to shrink that swelling, but I didn't find that to be true. The instructions are hard to find, [...]and the medication was not effective in releiving my swelling. Perhaps I got a bad batch, you never know. I will try it again and see if it does anything for me. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Have a blessed day.

I saw this advertised on TV and thought I'd give it a try--most of the time I have a stopped up sinuses but no drainage and that's what this medication focuses on. These pills work really well to reduce the inflamation and swelling that make it so hard for me to breathe. They last about as long as the package indicatess--four hours, and even taking them every four hours I had absolutely no side effects. Will definitely continue to purchase!
