I had a very severe cold for 2 weeks, and just when I finally thought I was over it, I felt it coming back. I had recently purchased Airborne (never tried them before) and I decided to take one at the first sign of my sniffles and sore throat, and with-in 2 hours I felt way better. I took another about 4 hours later just to be sure, and my cold hasn't returned (it's been 3 weeks). I'm going to place an order for more today. I wish I would have tried this stuff years ago. Tastes great compared to other cold medicine, and the container fits perfectly in my purse.

Airborne was recommended to me by a friend. I googled it trying to find information as to its ingredients. The company site told me very little, but it offered a free sample by mail. I filled out the form, but never received my sample. I filled it out again and still didn't receive my sample. Then it was on sale at one of the health/vitamin outlets I shop at so I bought some. First time I took it was to prevent a cold. You could say it worked, b/c I didn't get a cold. I only took one tab. Second time I took it was a year later, I had a bad cold, so I took the maximum, which is 3 tabs that day. Next day I woke up itching, but my runny nose had stopped and I was stuffed up, which meant cold was going away. Then I took another tab that morning and by evening, I was scratching myself like mad, because I had full blown hives. The "proprietary blend" of mysterious herbs can be dangerous!!!I did some more research and found some information on [@], where one person suggested that why Airborne works is not because of the vitamins or herbs, but because of the BAKING SODA or sodium bicarbonate. This person takes 1/4-1/2 tsp. of baking soda 3X a day to ward off a cold and it works. So next time I'm going to try that, add some Emergen-C or take an acerola tab for vitamin C, then eat a huge portion of broccoli and double up on my daily multis!!I also just discovered that this company was sued for false advertising. You could supposedly get your money back, up to $15 if you bought Airborne on the assumption that it can prevent or "cure" (the big no-no word that gets companies in trouble w/FDA) a cold. Now it says, "boosts immune system."

Have used this now for years to keep myself healthy. I have two young children, and staying healthy is a problem with them alwways sick. At the onset of something, I take it, and feel great within 3 hours, or overnight. I often have to take it routinely while my kids are sick to boost my immunity - it usually works well. Love the grapefruit one, the others are horrible tasting to me.

When my friend told me to try this, I laughed at her and told her it didn't work. Then I got really sick.So ... with nothing to lose, I tried it. I really think it helps lessen the severity of your cold and now take it as soon as I wake up with congestion to ward off any ugly germs. Try it ... you have nothing to lose ... but your cold!

i usually take it when I feel I might have catch something. Or when someone at home or at work has a cold. I willl take it to prevent myself from getting their cold. I have been using this product for about two years. Seems to work so far. You have to take it when you first feel something, don't wait until you have a full blown cold or it will not work.

Check with your doctor about the Aspertame in this product - cancer patients beware of adding another "hidden" carcinogen to your body from a product claiming it's all "natural". The product seems to work well on healthy individuals, but beware the added aspertame, and herbals that may have allergic reactions.

I've used the Airborne products in the past, and while I know they're just a super-huge dose of vitamins, I do feel that they help in preventing a cold, or at least limiting the duration of one. The reason I'm writing a review is that this one, the pink grapefruit, is absolutely the best tasting one I've ever had, with none of that vitamin-y tastes the others (and other cold prevention products) have that make it hard to swallow. This is actually tasty!

I like the taste of it and doctor says I don't drink enough water. So every once in a while I'll add this to my water. A little zip to my diet. Sound Silly? So. I still like the bubbly taste and it seems better for me than soda.
