Indications
Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies:
Runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat
Warnings
Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any other of its ingredients Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose. When using this product do not use more than directed. Taking more than recommended may cause drowsiness Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction to this product occurs. Seed medical help right away. If pregnant of breast feeding, ask a health care professional before use Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
It takes effect almost immediately as it disolves on your tongue. The mint is the best flavor. The itching stops quickly 20 minutes at most. It doesn't interfere with my other medications
This is an antihistamine, not a decongestant. I often take it with Sudafed (the kind the pharmasist has behind the counter). Sudafed is a decongestant. We like that Alavert dissolves quickly and has a very pleasant mint flavor. I don't experience any side effects- I did when I tried Zyrtec.
