I was looking for a 15SPF natural sunscreen and picked this after reading some reviews. The smell is great but it is just too oily for me. Despite only using a small amount it never really soaked in and anything I used on top of it was oily than as well. If you are an oil user I definitely recommend trying it out but its just too oily for me.

I use this everyday before I walk to work. I love the way it smells; it doesn't smell like you're wearing sunscreen. Great coverage, not sticky or greasy.

I love this stuff for an after-shower moisturizer!!! It smells so good, and it really does ease dryness. Plus, then you have the added bonus of a little SPF help. BUT, I would NOT recommend using this as a heavy-duty sunscreen. It just doesn't give enough protection. But as a body oil, awesome!!!

I use the oil when indoor tanning as well as for a day out on the water! I love it for both. It is a little more "oily" than I would like, but that pretty quickly soaks into the skin.
And, I love, love, love the smell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It takes me to other places - tropical places - the ocean - the beach - palm trees - drinks on the sand...

My husband and I are addicted to this dry lotion, it give you a great glow! We've bought it for the last 3 summers. Since its SPF is low, we tend to use it after a "base tan" is somewhat established (though I avoid my face). The smell is wonderful and the texture is not too greasy. You have to reapply if jumping in the water, but that is the case with tanning oils. I love that It doesn't have all the chemicals and junk that most sunscreen products carry.

I apply this product before tanning. It has a low SPF, so it's not a sunblock. I love the fact that it is a dry oil, ie, it doesn't leave a greasy, overly shiny film on the skin. It also smells great, and has really good natural ingredients. Only drawback is that it's a bit pricey, so get it on sale!!

I bought this because although I have to be careful due to allergies, I am safe with coconut oil, coconut based anything. I still try "regular" sunscreens because I have had reactions from some of the supposedly natural, nothing bad in it, perfectly safe, fragrance free(but smells like chemicals anyway) products. There are a few good ones, but it completely depends on what you are allergic to o what your skin reacts to and some of those so-called safe products have things that I react to even though you would think it doesn't.

I did not realize it had Macadamia nuts - which doesn't seem to bother me in small quantities - candy bar/chocolate covered, cookies, etc. But if I eat alot -half a jar did it for me once I get a rash. Anyway,I think this is what gave me the rash-it was similar to a rash I got on my hands after using macadamia oil in a recipe that called for it-was kneading with my bare hands...

Anyway, the rash from Alba wasn't just a minor skin irritation though, within 15 minutes I had a prickly heat looking rash all over my leg (I used it only on my one leg the first time to test it out, used only a little bit, about a quarter size amount, twice). It became super red, swelling, itchy, and burned like I was on fire (not when applying, a/b 20 minutes later when the rash started getting bad)It clearly has enough macadamia to put me over the top when using a small amount-so it's not a minor ingredient. The rash also did not go away after washing it off, like it does with other rash causing agents. I couldn't get rid of this until I used hydrocortisone gel all over my leg for three days-this ended the redness, swelling and burning but it was a full week before the bumps were gone, there were millions it seemed and covered my leg.. No allergy cream, prescription allergy medicine, over the counter Benadryl, nothing would work except the cortisone-which I only use for extreme skin reactions, maybe once a year. Considering I only got the rash in the one place where this sunscreen was used, I'm certain it was the cause. I am very careful when trying to eliminate a product or test a product for allergy purposes. Sadly, it is one of the few sunscreens I've tried that didn't smell like a chemical factory. It's my fault for not noticing macadamia nuts was in this, and also because I would probably not have thought there was enough in it to cause such a bad reaction because I really thought the primary base was coconut. Anyway, buyer beware.

This product smells so great and really helps to make my tan last. One star off for price, but I would definitely recommend it.
