This is my go-to winter moisturizer. It absorbs quickly but provides a little extra moisture for dry skin. I prefer to use something with an SPF during the day, so I rotate this in at night. Great stuff!

I liked everything about the product with the exception of the smell. I am sensitive to smells due to asthma, though there are some smells that I find pleasant that do not trigger asthma symptoms. The smell of this product was not pleasant and did trigger asthma symptoms. If the product were fragrance-free, I would rate it as a 5-star product.

I have used the Alba sunscreen for several years. I was tired of paying exhorbitant prices for Lancome/Clarins/Elizabeth Arden moisturizers. I decided to try this as a daytime moisturizer. I love it! And...it makes my skin look and feel wonderful. I bought some for my 73 YO mother and she loves it.

I am 39 and use my Elizabeth Arden prevage under this in the AM and the Alba sea lipids nighttime cream. I continue to get assumptions that I am in my late 20's/early 30's.

AND....the price is just right!! give it a try.

I have tried several products by Alba and have always been very impressed and satisfied with their performance.

My most recent purchase of the Sea Lipids Daily Cream did not disappoint. It is a very good value and stands up to many of the higher priced creams.

A wonderful product for daily use, especially under make-up.

This is SO disappointing! Just found out: this contains PARABENS. :(

Alba Botanica (supposedly organic) has be the only thing (and I have tried A LOT) that has moisturized without my skin breaking out. I have used it religously, along with the Sea Mineral Cleansing Gel (possibly no parabens), Sea Algae Enzyme Facial Scrub (parabens), and Sea Moss Moisturizer SPF 15 (parabens); the Sea Lettuce Cleansing Milk (parabens) was too heavy.

Due to (painful!) Fibrocystic Breast Condition - which is fairly common - I refuse to continue to support companies that use an ingredient that is known to cause breast tumors and/or cancer.

Ladies, be aware, be educated, be SAFE. Always check ingredients.

I've only used the products a few times, because I think my eyes
smart from it, but I will try using it again when my skin becomes
used to the present Alba Botanice Moisurizer that I am using now.
Since I have mature skin, it may take awhile for my skin to
adjust to changes in the creams I use on my face.
Otherwise, I am pleased with the results of both creams that I
have been using.

I've always loved this moisturizer for day use. Because I use Retin-A and prescription creams that really dry me out, I need a good moisturizer or my skin peels. But I also need something that won't aggravate the acne I'm trying to prevent. While using this, I have no peeling or dryness like I do with your typical oil free moisturizer or moisturizer for combination skin. No acne like with heavier creams for dry skin.

In other words, some creams are too heavy, some aren't enough -- this one is just right when combined with a mild cleanser. No animal testing, vegetarian ingredients, and an emphasis on organics only add to an already outstanding product.

I've been using this moisturizer for about a year now. I simply love it! I used to have dry, flaky skin around the hairline, and I felt like everyone noticed it. Since using this product, I don't get the flakes anymore, and my skin feels so soft. I really love their line, and appreciate their use of organic ingredients, and NO animal testing.
The previous review mentioned they wish it had spf in it. I am avoiding the spf, because I've found that whatever is in it, causes me to get dry skin. I use an SPF with my makeup, and when I'm sans makeup, I put an SPF product over this one.
