I rarely write reviews, but i've been sooo happy with this product that I had to!

I've dealt with acne for the longest time in my life. It started when I was in about 7th grade, but cleared up for the majority of high school. I didn't have discoloration problems or anything.

However, I entered college, and because of bad eating habits and stress, my skin started acting up! I was able to get my acne under control again, however I had red spots all over my face that would NOT go away. I tried natural remedies, and expensive creams like loreal spot corrector, but nothing was working. I would even put foundation at home with my roommates because I was embarrassed to be seen with markings.

One day I stopped by at kroger to try out a night cream, and I stumbled upon the alba botanica even advanced cream. I saw that it helped with discoloration so I thought why the heck not?

I am sooo happy I did that because honestly, my red marks have significantly improved upon using this cream. Im not saying it goes away immediately, but it has helped me more than any other cream I've tried.

MY ADVICE FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING WITH ACNE & SCARS:
1) drink plenty of water ( coconut water is awesome for skin! some people find it hard to take down, but it benefits your skin)
2) take multivitamins ( such as vitamin A, E, D)
3) use this cream :]
4) exercise (as much as a short brisk walk 30 minutes)
5) Add foods such as spinach, pomegranate, avocados, grapefruit etc.

that is honestly the best and cheapest way to tame acne. It's so much cheaper than dermatologists (i've been to many and have spent literally hundreds of dollars on medicines I don't use anymore)

light yet hydrating, i put o a pea size amount nightly after washing my face. The light scent is nice but not too much.

I use this in the evenings as my nighttime moisturizer after cleansing and applying my retinol or glycolic acid serums. A little dab on the forehead, cheeks, chin and neck is all you need to massage it into the skin. I love the texture and the way it absorbs. I wake up with smooth, moisturized skin. I also love the vegan and organic ingredients. It doesn't contain parabens or anything that disturbs me or my skin. And it doesn't cost a fortune. Also, it isn't tested on animals. Great product.

I find this product wonderful to use. I have only been using it for a few weeks but find that it fits the bill. I always look for products that are on the natural side and don't test on animals. I would buy this again.

I like the scent, but others might not; it does dissipate after a while. Best Bargain. I have used expensive products & this works the best for my skin.

I LOVE this moisturizer. I recently started using a cleanser with glycolic acid to help get rid of hyperpigmentation spots. It left my skin really dry no matter what moisturizer I used, especially at the corners of my mouth and my nose. This cream took care of that in no time flat. It's creamy and smooth and just so lovely. I have sensitive skin and it hasn't bothered me at all. It's perfect for anyone with sensitive or dry skin, especially if it's caused by acne or wrinkle medications.

this is the cream I always return to after using other more expensive products. I love it so much and it has a nice effective cocktail of alpha lipoid acid and vitamin C ester (dr perricone) and also DMAE (dr perricone) and also sea algae extracts (creme de le mer). To boot, there is no dimethicones or petroleum products in it. It's all vegetable and plant based moisturizing ingredients. This product really moisturizes great, doesn't gum up, won't break you out, and it makes my wrinkles minimized and contours look firm. I have used this for over 5 years, I have bought at least 15 jars. buy it now. By the way, I am 41, and I just bought my mom 2 jars and she loves it too. better than okay for sure, a stellar value compared to the dept store with equal results.

Wonderful product. Is a bit thick, but is well worth the price. I love the fact that it is full of natural plant products.
