The "new and improved" version of the Alba Botanica sea kelp toner I received in my last shipment (9/11) doesn't feel as good as the prior version and doesn't do as good a job of removing make-up residue. I'll be shopping for a new toner.

I use this product after a cleanser, and before moisturizer. It's non-drying, gentle, yet super effective in picking up left-over dirt and makeup. Doesn't have alcohol, so doesn't dry out skin. And as a plus, it smells nice. Love it!

Searched for a more natural alternative to drugstore toners and found Alba Botanica. I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and used daily after cleansing the face, this product does what it is supposed to do...tone your skin. I use this twice a day - once after my morning workout, I use an Alba facial cleanser followed by the toner and then an Alba SPF moisturizer. The second time of the day is at night following make up removal with my Olay cleansing cloth. I use the toner and then a heavier Alba nighttime moisturizer. (All the Alba products I use are the Botanica sea products.) My skin is extremely sensitive. Many products burn my skin or make my eyes water (from the scent). The Alba products are gentle and non- irritating. Most importantly, after three weeks of using the products my skin looks amazing. The tone and texture are even and my skin glows. My first Alba product was this toner. By itself, it was great to help remove the last traces of dirt and oil and definitely made my skin smoother and more even. Combining the toner with the cleansers and the moisturizers has made my skin that much better.

I really enjoy this toner and love using it after I shave. It's hard to say and may sound like a negative; however, this leaves my face a little numbed and feeling clean and not oily. I have combination skin. In the summer, I will wash my face with a cleanser like purpose and then tone with this and that's it. Fantastic!!

I have extremely sensitive skin. When I use this daily it improves my skin, no little bumps, acne has cleared up but just make sure you dont get any on your lips by accident its nasty haha. I tried everything, I used Dr. Hauschka Clarifying toner and it helps but is expensive when i ran out I wanted to check if there was a natural alternative but still as effective. This was much cheaper, and interesting enough it is more effective. I see better results with this. I do notice that if I skip just one day it matters, so keep on a habitual cleaning with cleanser, toner and a moisturizer and you should be good to go. But everyones skin is different but I gave it a month to see any effects and it cleared it up in a week. its a small bottle so I saved my Dr. Hauschka spray toner bottle, washed it out and I poured the alba toner in that, I spray it onto my skin and press in gentle wave movements and it lasts a lot longer! and I dont have to worry about puffs from cotton balls getting stuck to my face etc :) oh it does dry out your face though so be ready with your moisturizer once it dries. I will always buy this stuff! love it :)
