i like alba products and this shampoo met my expectations...the only thing that surprised me was that it is a clear shampoo, i expected it to be creamy but it works just fine.

I'm shocked. I am a shampoo snob. I've used every shampoo from $2-$30, drugstore to salon, looking for the best and this is it. Most shampoos either dry out or weigh down hair and I notice it SO much on mine because my hair is very fine. This one actually leaves it soft and clean and perfectly balanced. On top of that, it smells fantastic. I still can't believe it and love this stuff- it's perfect (I also use the mango conditioner with it)

I've paid a lot more for shampoo's that striped my hair of shine and caused frizz. This shampoo is all you'll ever need.

My Daughter suggested this product to take care of properly cleaning my hair without leaving my sensitive skin and scalp in ruins. It has exceeded my hopes and expectations, clean hair wirhout itchiness or irritatin.

I bought this product because it was rated as having no toxic chemicals in it's ingredients list. Love the smell and how well it cleans my hair. My husband uses it and also likes it a lot.

I've tried a few of the natural lines of shampoo and so far this product is the best. It doesn't dry out my hair or scalp with daily use. The smell is wonderful, the shampoo lathers very well and washes out the Redkin cream wax product that I use. I would also reccomend the mango conditioner.

I have baby fine hair that is quite thick and can get oily at the roots. I've loved Alba Botanica's products and tried the little "starter pack" of this line. This shampoo smelled great, but hardly lathered - okay, I can deal with that - but it left it a greasy mess! After blow-drying, I was horrified to discover it looked like I hadn't washed my hair in over a week. I tried with/without conditioner and with alternate conditioners... rinsing 3 x as long as I normally need to - I gave up. This doesn't work for me at all.

This shampoo is great for my fine blonde hair. I'm using as my winter shampoo and it keeps the static away. My hair is shiny and soft without being greasy. Smells good too. I also use the Gardenia conditioner. Very flowery smell, but not too strong and doesn't linger. I have normal to dry hair. I wouldn't recommend this shampoo for oily hair.

I really like this shampoo. I'm surprised others say it doesn't clean their hair. I also have coarse hair and it tends to get oily as well. The shampoo cleans great and I just apply conditioner to halfway down (my stylist told me) so that it doesn't get on the root area. I also follow up with a leave in conditioner and a smoother. With all that my hair isn't anymore oily than usual. Would have given it five stars but it is expensive. However, if I didn't find anything better than this, Id still pay the money for it.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I have very oily roots with dry ends, long fine wavy hair. If I use this, the next day my hair looks oily again, so it doesn't clean my oily roots all that great. I do like that it is gentle on my hair though, the ends don't feel dry after use. I was using Nioxin and it was drying my hair out pretty bad, so that is why I switched to a more natural product to try to get my hair back in shape. I will not purchase this again, but I will continue to use this bottle until it's gone, which I'm 3/4 the way there. I'm still on the hunt for my Holy Grail shampoo.
