I have naturally very curly hair, and have embraced the no-poo routine as the best method to care for my curls. I have abandoned traditional shampoos, and any products containing sulfates or silicones. Since I use so much conditioner in my hair to keep it hydrated and knot-free, I get some build up after a week of no washing. I like to use this natural hair wash once a week to clean my hair and scalp. I love that it is gentle and doesn't totally dry out my already thirsty hair. I also love the fact that I only need to use a small amount to get a clean head of hair. Since I only use it once a week, I'm still on my first bottle of this stuff after over a year of use! It is a bit more expensive, but totally worth the extra buck in my opinion. Great natural wash if you're on the no-poo wagon!

This was my favorite shampoo for over 6 years and I am disappointed at the "new and improved" formula. It does not contain SLS anymore, but it won't lather either and it won't clean. I don't wash my hair everyday and need a little more power to clean it. This no longer does it. The texture has changed too, it's so gelly that it runs when you squeeze it.
Am I the only one to notice it?

This shampoo doesn't create thick, hard to rinse lather, which I like, I don't see that as a negative. It is great to use everyday on thick hair that tends to get oily. I'm totally delighted to find that it makes my hair shiny, shinier than any other shampoo I have used! The scent is wonderful, though I wish it were a little stronger.

Im in the desert and this product has been great for my hair. It smells great and keeps it healthy looking. Plus its organic which I think is very important.

This product contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine and that is not listed on the ingrediants here. The older version of the Mango shampoo did not, but they are not making it anymore.
If you are allergic to that, don't make the mistake that I did.
I really wish Alba did not change the ingrediants in the shampoo because I loved it. Now I can't use it at all.

i like alba products and this shampoo met my expectations...the only thing that surprised me was that it is a clear shampoo, i expected it to be creamy but it works just fine.

I'm shocked. I am a shampoo snob. I've used every shampoo from $2-$30, drugstore to salon, looking for the best and this is it. Most shampoos either dry out or weigh down hair and I notice it SO much on mine because my hair is very fine. This one actually leaves it soft and clean and perfectly balanced. On top of that, it smells fantastic. I still can't believe it and love this stuff- it's perfect (I also use the mango conditioner with it)

I've paid a lot more for shampoo's that striped my hair of shine and caused frizz. This shampoo is all you'll ever need.

My Daughter suggested this product to take care of properly cleaning my hair without leaving my sensitive skin and scalp in ruins. It has exceeded my hopes and expectations, clean hair wirhout itchiness or irritatin.

I bought this product because it was rated as having no toxic chemicals in it's ingredients list. Love the smell and how well it cleans my hair. My husband uses it and also likes it a lot.
