First time in years I haven't had to peel daily. I won't be without it. I don't understand how anyone could not love it. I found it on a trip to CA and pick up several each time I go. If you don't mind that kind of taste, it will be a good lip balm. Personally, I don't like that artificial taste so it was a miss for me. But I'm really sensitive to the plastic-ish taste that many lip balms have. This unfortunately has it, too. If you don't mind that kind of taste, it will be a good lip balm. My lips have been extremely dry, especially this winter. I've tried so many different lip balms and this one has had the best results so far. Although it doesnt 'feel' like it stays on for a long time, it works! Normally I'd re-apply lip balm a dozen times a day and still had dry, cracked lips. With alba, I apply it a few times a day and lips are so much smoother. Plus, you can't beat the smell.  Pros

The consistency is a bit "odd" - it's almost as if the actual product has an exfoliating consistency to it when you press it to your lips but it doesn't "come off" on your lips.
