I loved the smell of this product in a store and the price is right in line with my budget. However after several uses my hair feels greasy and heavy at the end of the day and my face is beginning to break out. Additionally my fine usually flyaway hair feels very course and straw like.

The shampoo smells great, and It contained no sodium laurel sulphate, but does contain sodium laurel sulphoacetate, which is supposed to be hypoallergenic.

Maybe it's because I'm Asian and currently have straight (or almost) straight hair, but I found that everytime I use this shampoo, my hair ends up too 'fly-away' and dry. I don't get the light, yet moisturized, healthy feel that I do with other shampoos (for example Renee F). I really tried to like this product because it's natural and there are so many great reviews, but I think it might be more suitable for someone with really coarse, heavy hair? 'cuz it certainly made my hair kinda feel like straw - just straight and lifeless. May work for other types of hair. Also wasn't too impressed with the smell. A bit TOO sweet for my taste. Would've preferred a bit more citrus in it to give it a tangy feel.

This one smells great and really gets your head and hair very clean. Because of that I can see how it could be a bit drying to some. I switch between this shampoo and another one. I always feel like I have super clean hair after this one...it gets all the left over residue from conditioners or products.

I loved this shampoo. I alternate between this one and another one that I have for volume as I weary of all the reviews that it strips hair of moisture. However, I have only been happy with it. The smell is incredible. My boyfriend is always commenting on how sweet my hair smells. Best not to wear this around bees as you will smell like a flower.

While I love Alba products generally, this shampoo seriously faded my colored hair. I've had the same hair color for about ten years. I switched to Alba about six months ago, and about a month later started noticing serious fading -- I didn't immediately connect it to the shampoo, but now that I've switched back to my original brand, it's clear that the shampoo change was the culprit. I also notice now that I'm back to my original brand my hair is softer, shiner, and easier to manage. So as much as I WANT to use a natural hair care product, I don't think this one's ready for chemically-colored hair (which probably makes sense if you think about it!). I'll still buy other Alba products though.
