I bought several tubes because this product has apparently been discontinued and my husband has been using it since he was a teenager. He wrote to the company and they replied that it was available various places, but it turns out we couldn't find it until we went online to drugstore.com. He has thick naturally curly hair that he blows dry and has always used this product.

This product has been around for at least 50 years, and there is a good reason it is still popular today. I have very dry, curly hair that frizzes easily; My Mom had dry, thin, wavy hair. We both use Alberto VO5 on a daily basis. It calms frizz and split ends, adds some shine, and conditions hair. It's not greasy (unless you use WAY too much!) and has a great scent. I couldn't manage my hair without it!

Really gives hair a nice shine. I am older and people always comment how shiny my hair is and what do I use. Have tried other products on the market but was a waste of my money. Always come back to this.

I have used this product for decades and love it. The tiny amount required does not leave the hair greasy. Post shower daily use keeps the hair in place all day without making it stiff. Unfortunately many drugstores and supermarkets have quit selling it (it does not move fast enough I'm told) so I'm pleased to know I can get it at drugstore.com.

I've been using this since I was little. Saw it again here at drugstore.com good price , I needed something to manage the frizzes of winter. since the ingredients are norishing as well as helpful and puts alittle shine to your hair I bought some again. just a dimes worth in your hand works up to long hair. adds some shine and good for your hair

I've used this for years on my naturally curly hair! It gives my hair a nice shine while managing it. Would be nice if Alberto would add a little something to make it smell a little more pleasant. It doesn't have a strong odor by any means and I will continue to use, however, it just has no nose appeal.

This product controls my fine, fly away hair very well. I use it instead of hair spray on most occasions. It leaves a shine in my hair that I didn't have before! It makes my hair soft and it feels like silk. It's really too bad more women aren't aware of this superior product. I will continue to purchase it.
