I would use this product exclusively if it were readily available locally. It is very difficult to find on store shelves for some reason, but is easy to get online, through Drugstore.

For hair that may be getting thin from age. A little is all you need. Doesn't make your hair feel dirty like some products do.

I expected to love this product after reading the other reviews, but instead I hated it! After one use, I threw the container away. I started off hopeful, because I enjoyed the consistancy of the product, not too thin, not to thick. But realized right away that the over powering smell was going to be a problem for me because I'm "scent" sensitive. If you are too, don't buy it! As my hair dried, I do have to admit that it looked good. However everytime I touched my hair, I was grossed out by the coating the product left on my hair. The next morning it took me three shampoos to get the stuff washed out.

Love this product because I have white hair that often will look yellow due to what type of hair dressing I use. Thought maybe they weren't making this product so none of my local stores carried it. Thanks, Drugstore!

I have very curly hair and was hoping for some conditioning and a little frizz control from this product. I also use a curl creme/ gel after so I really was only looking for a bit of slickness and smoothing. This doesn't really do much at all, even though I have used pretty large amounts of it. I think it would probably work well for someone with wavy or straight hair, or for someone who blow-dries straight. It has that silicone feel that is usually good for straightening.

I have fine straight hair so I rely on perms for body and curl but hate the frizz. This smoothes the curls to make them look natural. I don't use a lot and keep it away from the roots or it can look oily when you over do it. If I just keep it away from the roots, its great. I used to use Pantene leave in conditioner and loved it but they quit making it. This is more expensive but I don't have to use near as much. So happy to find something that works again without crunchy or sticky and keeps the body and curl, doesn't flatten.

After reading the reviews, and being a big fan of VO5's Detangle & Shine spray, I was excited to try the Sheer Hairdressing. I have fine, but thick hair (in other words, a lot of "hairs"). I tried this product several times, in several different ways, but it always weighed my hair down. I don't think I was using too much. I ended up giving it away and will stick with the Detangle & Shine, which is liquid and is great for my hair type. I think any type of cream product will be too heavy for me. This might work great if your hair is medium or coarse texture.
