This really is a great clarifying shampoo, especially for the price! It very thoroughly cleanses the hair!

HOWEVER, I recently discovered that with my very curly, very dry hair that I should not be using sulfates of any sort and this product contains sulfates (the chemical that makes the product lather but strips curly, dry, frizzy hair of much-needed moisture). If they made this sulfate-free, I would definately continue use!!!

I have the wave nouveau which is a curly perm and my beautician told me that i would have to use a clarifying shampoo to get all of the oil buildup out of my hair. i washed my hair the smell of the product is awesome but the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it makes your hair feel stripped now that is fine for me bc my last lather with shampoo is always my creme of nature moisturizing shampoo so my hair immediately comes back to life which makes it so soft and beautiful. So if you are looking for something that gets the grease buildup out of your hair this is great just make sure you have a great moisturizing conditioner afterwards.

I use a lot of silicone stylers to keep my curls springy, tangle free and frizz free. I use this once a week to remove product build up. Because it's a clarifying shampoo, it can dry the hair out pretty badly. I would not recommend it for daily use unless you have very oily hair. I follow it with a deep conditioner.

I bought this to combat the residue I was getting from my very hard water. I also needed it to wash out this thick natural conditioner I was using.

While the smell is great, the product itself didn't work for me. I ended up using my boyfriend's 2-n-1 to do the job.

Great shampoo to use a few times a week. Keeps hair light and removes all the build up from other hair products.

Fantastic clarifying shampoo. Most clarifying shampoos are very, very harsh to do the job..this one is not only gentle on my colored, fried hair..but it smells so amazing! I use it 2-3x/week to clarify, & remove the hard water residue from my hair....superb product. Try it.
