Alberto VO5 Tea Therapy Revitalizing Conditioner is excellent if you want to co wash your hair! It's very light and get's the cleaning done. You could not expect more for the price and the lovely scent of this product lingers in my hair for a while even after I step out of the shower! Love it!

With long, thick, naturally curly hair I only use traditional shampoo once a week, if that. I wet and condition (co wash) my hair every day. This product does an amazing job for me. I was worried it might not detangle or give enough slip since it is so thin, but it is perfect! My hair detangles nicely in the shower and I just finger comb it. I have to use quite a bit of this conditioner to get all through my hair, but that's OK, it's affordable to do so. I let my hair dry on its own or use a diffuser just a little bit and I get amazing curl and shine. Not frizzy or limp and lifeless. Just perfect. I love it!

I love these vo5 conditioners for co-washing....These are great for curly or wavy hair. Or any kind of co-wash.....I use these or suave naturals line....I have fine wavy hair...that is color treated...I use Dr. bronners style cream after this and my hair is so soft and moisturized. You can get all of these on this site.

Works just fine. I have really short hair, so I don't know how this would work on really long hair. But for short hair it worked great. I like that there wasn't a ton of suds. Quick rinsing and light smell.

I first heard about using V05 conditioner when I was learning to manage curly hair. They don't contain silicones (typically the ingredient "dimethicone", found in most conditioners), which are known to wreak havoc on curls by causing build-up and weighing hair down. For me, using conditioner is really just a means to detangle my hair and give it a little moisture boost to prep for styling. I have about four times more hair on my head than many of my straight haired friends (This is not an exaggeration. The last time I straightened my hair we compared the girths of our ponytails and the difference was outrageous).

Anyway, I use a lot of conditioner. I go through about two bottles of this stuff a week. The cost is right, the light texture is perfect for detangling, and it doesn't smell "cheap" or overpowering. It does condition, but maybe will not provide enough deep conditioning for someone with very damaged hair. For me, it's perfect. My only gripe with it, or rather with the way it is manufactured, is that it does not come in a bigger size. I hate to throw away so many plastic bottles - and constantly having to buy conditioner, however cheap, is annoying. Other than that, and if you have a similar hair type (lots and lots and lots of thick curly hair), check it out.

This is a really good conditioner for CO washing. It smells really great too. It wouldn't be good if you're looking for heavy moisture, but it's good for daily use because it won't leave too much residue or buildup.
