I received this product as a sample. Once I used it I wanted to continue using it. Shopped around-DrugStore.com offered the best price with quick delivery. I use it twice a day, and with this dry winter weather-I have noticed the "moisturizing " effect it has had on my face without leaving a "greasy" feeling.

I have been using Albolene for years. My Mom also used it forever and had beautiful skin. I a baffled that people think it is greasy. The whole purpose is to leave a little on your face overnight to abolish dryness. You really don't want to wash your face afterwards. That defeats the whole reason for using Albolene. Dah!!! LOL!!! Great stuff!

This is the greatest stuff. I used to use Albolene for removing my stage makeup. Recently, I started using another product to remove my makeup, and it stung the skin around my eyes. Then I remembered the Albolene. Once I started using it again, I felt an amazing difference. No irritation, whatsoever! It melts my eye makeup right off. I just tissue it off, then go over my face with a warm washcloth. It leaves my skin soft. The other thing is that it lasts so long. I am just finishing my jar that I bought over 7 months ago! I use it nightly to remove makeup. I also use it to remove very heavy stage makeup. Give it a try.

I 've taken my make up off with this product for over 35 years. I was told about it from a women who worked as my elementary school sectretary, her other job was a clown in her spare time one day I wanted to know how she got all her makeup off. She told me "Albolene" and said it is what all the clowns at Barnum Bailey Circus used. I told my mom and she bought it and she started useing it. We both are told all the time what beautiful skin we have she is 75 and I just turned 50...I don't want you to think it only works on heavy makeup, I ware very little and most of the time just mascara with eye cream. I'm so glad to find it on line since our local Long's drug store went out of business......

Now that I am older it's great to have something to moisturize my skin. Things are very dry and this helps immensely.

My husband has very sensitive skin that breaks out in blisters, hives, you name it. So, finding a sexual lube or oil has proved difficult. I too, read about Albolene being good for general luberation for women, but it has also worked out for Hubby too. This feels "silky" not gooey like vaseline, and lasts longer than KY or someother OTC stuff. No smell do it. Being using it for years, and never on my face...lol

I bought this product because I read online that it helped with ezcema. It hasn't cured it, but it does moisturize well and eliminates dryness, especially on my legs. It does leave a greasy residue on the skin, though, so you either need to wear gloves or use it only when not doing anything else.
