Warnings
Except under the advice and supervision of a doctor: Do not take more than, Adults: 8 tablets in a 24-hour period (60 years of age or older: 7 tablets in a 24-hour period), Children: 4 tablets in a 24-hour period; or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than 2 weeks. Do not use this product except under the advice and supervision of a physician if you are on a sodium restricted diet. Each tablet contains 311 mg of sodium. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

I have a sensitivity to some foods. Refined wheat is one. I feel lethargic, fatigued and sluggish. It really caused problems at work on birthdays or bagel days. My face would turn pale and the symptoms would start. My environmental allergist suggested Alkaseltzer Gold. It really works and cancels the sluggishness. I can concentrate again. Wonderful stuff - although it's hard to find.

I take it on really dry days, when I tend to get dehydrated. When I lived in a more polluted environment, I used it whenever I was reacting to the pollution. It helped a log. I also use it after eating something acidic, to protect my teeth and to prevent heartburn. It has become extremely hard to find, so I am relieved to find it at drugstore.com

In a 20 ounce cup, I put 4 ice cubes, then fill it with non flavored soda water, and then one package of alka Seltzer gold. I drin it in little spurts so if you have an insulated cup with a lid, it keeps it fresh and the ice cubes take longer to melt. I keep the soda water in the refrigerator most of the time to keep it cold.
