I've had numerous Rx's from physicians. It feels like an elephant standing on my chest. Two of the Alka Seltzer for HEARTBURN tabs in a 3/4 cup of water, and I'm cured instantly! I use it to relieve heartburn and trapped gas just before I go to bed, and it does so quickly and reliably, much more so than any chewable antacids I've ever used. That's good news - it's for stomach upset and heartburn only, and it works very well. You'll begin to feel relief immediately - even before you finish drinking it down. I found the taste to be a bit too sweet, and so would suggest adding the tablets to a at least 6 oz. of water, rather than just the 4 oz. recommended on the dosage instrustructions.
