This is a good everyday low dosage allergy medicine. The 180 mg would be reserved for the FULL height of the allergy season dosage, the 60mg is good for the daily minor symptoms. Also, when necessay, I can take another of the 60mg size in the late afternoon.
It makes this dosage size very flexible even though it is only slightly cheaper then the 24 hour 180 mg pill. I just did not want to have to cut the 180 pills so this size is very convenient for me.

Our Lhasa Apso gets very itchy and bites her toes and back side and has been generally miserable. We tried Temaril-P but had problems with the steroid. We tried Benadryl and Chroltrimeton and while both helped some they did not solve the itching. I am now giving her 30 mg (1/2 of a 60 mg pill; she weighs 16 lbs) just once a day and she is largely itch-free and we are sleeping at night. Of course, check with your vet if you want to try this with your own itchy dog.

I wish it could be purchased in bulk, like in the prescription. It takes FOREVER to get at a single pill. I hate it.

work far better that 24 hr the 12 hour work and are well worth the effort to take out of the package.

I tried the 14 hr pill gave me a headache and did not work nearly as well

I tried the 24 hr allegra it made me feel bad and did not do the job. the 12 hr taken 2xday is far superior worth the extra money and the difficult packaging. the 12 hr allegra just plain works better. I was on presciption before of this med can not do without year round.

When Allegra was a prescription it came from the pharmacist loose in a plastic bottle. Now, as an over the counter drug it is packaged one pill at a time. It is a huge and time consuming hassle to get each pill out of its Fort Knox packaging.
