This is the only allergy medicine that really works for me. I have tried Zyrtec, Claritin and a rash of others, but this is the only one that works. But don't take it at night, it will keep you up.

The Allegra OTC works pretty quickly, but it only lasts about 12 hours for me. Will still use this formulary for getting rid of seasonal allergies for 1/2 a day, with no drowsiness or other side effects. FYI: [@] offers their own brand (same active ingredient) for cheaper.

I took prescription Allegra and then the generic version for at least ten years, and this over-the-counter version is nothing like it. I had no side effects at all from prescription Allegra or the generic version. The OTC version actually increased my hay fever symptoms, such as drowsiness, upset stomach, and irritability. It also seemed to mix very badly with the same blood pressure meds I've been taking for years. I felt like I had the flu week after week until it occurred to me to stop taking the OTC Allegra. I can't think of anything positive to say about it.

No drowsiness whatsoever. Works fine but not as well as other products but i use this as it does not cause drowsiness.

What more can I say, the headline says it all. I just got the 45 tablet package at [@]for [$]and no shipping charges. Drugstore.com price, [$] + shipping. I've noticed, and I'm sure I'm not alone, that Drugstore.com has become less and less of a bargain the past few years. I frequently look here for savings but rarely find them. You'll have to try harder Drugstore.com.

Does clear up allergy symptoms with just one pill in 24 hours. Cannot be taken within four hours of ingesting fruit juices or magnesium or antacid pills.

This product works well, and relieves symptoms (especially sneezing) almost immediately. However, I would advise that anyone already taking prescription medications consult their own Dr. prior to purchasing this product; something that I did not think to do beforehand! I am taking several meds., and have a heart condition (mitral valve prolapse), and I found that this product produced sharp chest pains after taking it for only a few days.

I have not seen results with this product. In fairness, since I had not seen results I went back to my tried and true allergy treatment.
