I have been trying to lose 20 pounds for the past couple of years, with no success. Just cutting back on eating left me weak and feeling unwell. Almased really surprised me! It completely curbs my hunger pangs! A glass in the morning, another at supper time (with a "light" meal at noo) and I am completely satisfied! I don't crave food, don't feel weak, and have had no adverse side effects. I have lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks! What a great product!

I'm on my second canister. My Mom in law (62)and I (50) are both trying the product. I mix with fat free milk and add either strawberries or banana to curb the taste. I sometimes add to oj, cranberry & apple juices. However, Mom prefers to drink it straight. Taste is not unpleasant at all. I have lost 3 lbs in first week, she has lost 7. We have not done any exercise with it. Morning & lunch shakes, dinner chicken with veggies. I think these are great results for women our age so we are trying it for a second time.

It tastes good, I want to drink it.I drink it immediately after mixing, then it tastes the best.
I use this instead of breakfast. It does hold me till lunch, or small snack if lunch is late.
It is better than other liquid meal replacements because it tastes better.

It's easy to get use to the unusual taste. I tried another protein powder but found myselft re-ordering Almased because of the taste others find unpleasant.

I was really excited to try this after doing a lot of research on it. The taste was pretty bad, but you could cover it up with soy milk and fruit; however, the gritty texture was awful. It was really hard to swallow. Despite this, I gulped down the drinks for several days. It did a really good job of curbing my appetite. I wasn't hungry between meal times. I constantly had really bad headaches, and I ended up having to stop the program because of them. Once I stopped drinking the shakes, the headaches went away.

By far the best meal replacment product I have ever tried. Tastes great and a pleasant bonus is it calming (if not curing) my IBS symptoms. Weight keeps coming off and I can tell it is fat, not muscle as promised.

Service and delivery comments:

I was so excited to see the price Drugstore.com has for this (cheapest I had found anywhere else) as it is quite expensive. I bought 2 cans and when they arrived, both cans had spilled out in the box and even all over my front door mat! I definately and highly recommend the product but unfortunately I will not order here again due to the very poor packing and shipping.

Each can of Almased will provide 10 servings. I'm on my third can and losing wieght by about 1-2 lbs. per week. I just wish it weren't so expensive, otherwise I'd drink it everyday.
