I've been a loyal user for approximately 10 years now. I use waterproof mascara and find this to be the easiest, most efficient, and most effective way to remove it. Yes, it leaves an oily film around your eyes, but this "film" doesn't harm my skin in any way. It's never caused pimples or any other skin condition (and my skin is VERY sensitive to breaking out, dryness, and rashes), so I really don't care about the oily film. I always wash my face with Cetaphil afterwards, so the oily film only remains around the delicate eye area. It works better than any other product I've tried (and I've tried A LOT), and the one-step process of the pre-moistened pads is perfect for my busy life style. Note: I found that these pads work MUCH better on waterproof mascara than the same product (called "Moisturizing Eye Make-up Remover Lotion") available in bottle form. I'm thrilled to have found this product at drugstore.com since it is often hard to find in local stores. Too oily and heavy. It stuck to my lashes long after I used it and several attempts to wash it off and irritated my eyes and messed with my vision a little bit. When I wore contacts it was a nightmare. 2. It didn't really remove the makeup. It certainly couldn't compete with Klorane (my fav) or Neutrogena or Lancome (my 2 runners up that have a mildly oily texture that I like). 3, It's basically mineral oil (something I only noticed after purchase), an ingredient that has never worked on my skin (and probably doesn't work on too many others either). I picked this up for travel (convenience of pads) and I'm going back to my Klorane. It may seem more expensive, but a little goes a long way. Comments about Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Moisturizing: These eye makeup remover pads are very effective in removing all traces of eye makeup, including waterproof mascara! They are gentle, and do NOT leave a grease slick on your eyes (the Almay liquid eye makeup remover does that!). I use these pads on a daily basis, and highly recommend them! Comments about Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Moisturizing: Love this product, i ordered the non oily one, and this one is very VERY oily, so I'm guessing I got the wrong one, but it does the job perfectly, and I haven't had any break outs or anything weird or irregular. I got Laser surgery on my eyes and this is perfect for removing eye make up, because I'm not supposed to rub my eyes a lot so this is perfect! Comments about Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Moisturizing: I looooooooooove this eye makeup remover. I much prefer this "moisturing" formula over the "oil-free" kind, mainly because the oil-free kind just doesn't remove makeup as well. Yes, it is greasy - but I always follow my eye makeup removal with a gentle facial cleanser, which rids of all the leftover residue. For waterproof eye makeup formulas, it doesn't get better than this. I also love that the formula is already applied to a pad - no need for cotton balls or tissues.
