I have been using them faithfully for DECADES but now the pad is scratchier and the formula is different (less effective). What a drag! These used to be the best for removing waterproof mascara without irritating my sensitive eyes. I find the pads work best if you swipe the pad over your eye makeup (keep your eye tightly shut), making sure to get the underside of lashes as well as on top. Leave it on for a minute, and then blot gently with a tissue. Follow by washing your face. There will still be a bit of moisturizing oil left on your eye area after (so long as you don't scrub at your eyes during the face washing, which you shouldn't anyway), which I like. I do not, however, recommend these to clean off eye makeup if you're going to re-apply more makeup immediately after (they leave too much residue and your new makeup will slide off and/or smudge). Best Uses Comments about Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Non Oily, 80 ea: I used to LOVE this product. Until my eyelids swelled shut for a week and I had itchy red dried swollen eyelids for 2 weeks. I found out that ALMAY changed the ingredients for this product. The oil free eye makeup remover pads now list Diazolidinyl Urea on its ingredient list. I have 2 empty containers that did not list this ingredient and had no problems. ALMAY has since changed it. The solution is greasy now and the pads are rough and yellow tinged. Check your labels! Diazolidinyl Urea is an allergen in many cosmetics these days. Diazolidinyl Urea is a preservative that prevents bacterial growth. It works by releasing small amounts of formaldehyde, a toxic and carcinogenic substance used to embalm dead bodies. Hello! Thanks for letting me know before I rubbed it on my eyes. Diazolidinyl Urea can cause irritations and allergies. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Non Oily, 80 ea: I have used these eye makeup remover pads since 1997, but in the last year, the formulation has changed and I just can't use them anymore. They make my eyes water, they sting, they are just awful now! Comments about Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Non Oily, 80 ea: I love these little pads. They're non-greasy so you're not left washing the residue off your eyes. They're so easy to use too! Pros

Comments about Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Non Oily, 80 ea: I was looking for a product like this to take off eye make up at night. The key thing that is most important to me is non greasy. However, it also needs to work, which this doesnt really do. Unfortunately, it did not remove my eyeliner very well. I dont think I would purchase again. It seems like only greasy products are successful in removing eye make up because I have had zero luck with products that are non greasy! Pros

Comments about Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads, Non Oily, 80 ea: I have used this for decades; it never stung my eyes at all. Now it stings like crazy. Although the label looks the same, the order of all the ingredients has recently changed -- and they added a new one, Diazolidinyl Urea. It's a preservative that works by releasing formaldehyde. From its Material Safety Data Sheet: "Causes severe eye irritation. Will cause painful burning or stinging of eyes and lids, watering of eyes, and inflammation of conjunctiva." Shame on Almay for changing the product without at least changing the label's appearance to alert us. And for calling it "hypoallergenic" when it now contains a known carcinogen, according to the International Agency for Research on Cancer based in France (although in a U.S.-approved small amount, of course). If you're sensitive at all, recommend trying the small size first! Pros

Service and delivery comments: Delivery was prompt and drugstore.com is seldom out of the products I order. Many things available at your on-line store aren't always in stock at local stores.
