I've been using the brown shade for several years, never daring to try the black. I have pale skin and (dyed) blonde hair, so I thought the black would be too much for me. However I've gotten more daring with my eye makeup, and there was a good deal so I purchased the black and I LOVE IT!!!! It looks SO awesome! I've tried other liners- pencils, liquids, etc, but these Almay liners are THE BEST.

I was unsure at first when I ordered it because it looked like the liner I'd had before, but it didn't sound like the right description. This IS a crayon type eye liner. You twist it to bring up more of the liner, and there is a sharpener on the bottom that I just hadn't realized was there on my original one! (Or they included it after?)

This is a great option for a novice or someone with an unsteady hand. If you make a mistake it's easy to fix. It goes on smoothly and has great color, I love it!

I use the product every day, it really makes my eyes pop. I have brown eyes and the purple really makes them stand out. I also wear colored contacts and I really like to wear the brown with my blue contacts and the black with my purple, grey and green contacts. All the liner is great at defining my eyes. It also last all day long and does not smudge and comes off very easily when I am ready to remove it. I have been using it about three years now and would never use any other liner.

I like the fact that it glides on smoothly.
Application is very easy BUT it doesn't stay on for hours. It smudges only after 3 hours even if i put black eyeshadow on top of it. Without an eyeshadow, it smudges after just an hour. I won't use this for a night out or a date with my boyfriend.

I bought this eyeliner because of financial reasons...I normally get Smashbox jet set eyeliner, but it can be a little spendy. I wear this eyeliner when I am in a rush because it is easy to apply and goes on smoothly. I would not recommend wearing this eyeliner out, it always ends up smudging (on me anyways) as the day progresses. It could be that I just naturally have oilier skin, but I find that it is easy to smudge if you rub your eye and at the end of the day it doesn't look as fresh and smooth. I do love that it goes on very smooth and it is a rich black. I would actually buy this product again, despite the fact that it smudges; its a cheaper alternative that works fine.

I'm not at all experienced applying liquid eyeliner so the felt tip on the Almay intense i-color was helpful. I found it surprisingly easy to apply and it didn't smudge or smear.

My one complaint is the color. It's called "black pearl" but I would describe it as more of a sparkly gray. It has a lot of somewhat subtle glittery flecks (hence the "pearl") in it which soften the color a lot and it doesn't really appear black at all. It's not as dark as I would have liked it to be.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! DEFINITLY MY FIRST CHOICE AMONG ALL OTHER EYE LINERS. WORKS GREAT, GLIDES ON EASILY, STAYS ON AND DOESNT REALLY SMUDGE. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL THOSE GIRLS OUT THERE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT EYELINER.

Great product. Stays on, in place all day long. Very easy to apply. There is no tugging and pulling on sensitive skin around my eyes. Feels smooth and gentle when applying. As a contact lens wearer, I find this product especially good.

Very nice liner. This glides on without tugging/pulling the skin. You can even line the top lid, and it lasts for hours without smearing. Great for sensitive skin.
