I decided to try almay anti-aging makeup since I already use the almay concealer and am happy. This makeup goes on white, but instantly turns into your skin color. I got the "light" shade. I put dots around my face and then smoothed it in with my fingers. It dries instantly. Perfection!! I get so many compliments on my smooth complextion. I am hooked now, and for this price, it beats the department stores by far. SPF 20 is wonderful to protect your skin, and it's oil free so it won't clog your pores. The cream is difficult to apply evenly, & although the white cream became darker colored when applied, it still did not match my complexion. I used the Almay Smart Shade concealer also, under my eyes & on a couple of age spots, & then put the foundation on top of that. The concealer did not conceal, & in addition, it made me look kind of like I had racoon eyes! Years ago I read a makeup artist's tip to apply foundation with a damp makeup sponge for a more natural look, & I have always used that technique. However, even doing that did not make this foundation look natural! I do not recommend this product. I went back to my old brand. I no longer have to worry about blending for a long time where the product meets the jaw line. It saves a step by having SPF 20 in it. I even like the small squeeze bottle-makes for easy dispensing & I can take it with me, if I choose. I make certain to "stipple" (dab) the product if & when more coverage is needed, like a blemish or reddened area. You can save money as well, as you only need the one product if you get some color from a tan...no need to have different shades! Pros

I have medium skin tone and bought this because I felt like the light shade would be too light but this is way too dark.It doesn't blend well either. I have used it twice and tried other tricks to tone it down but felt it was still too dark and didn't blend well.

Don't be fooled that it is white out of the tube. It transforms when applied to match your skin tone. I'm giving this to both my adult daughters for Christmas.

But I have a wide streak of red skin across my neck from a medical incident. This foundation has solved the problem of covering it with a light coating that blends in and stays put. The SPF is an added bonus, but what I like is the amazing way the white cream becomes my skin tone within seconds and blends right in, while covering the redness. It doesn't settle into wrinkles and has worked well for me throughout entire long days (I do put a light dusting of mineral foundation over it). I think this is an excellent product, especially for 'mature' skin.

So, to me its the best procut becasue its the only product I can use. It blends perfectly and you get a great no make-up look. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it is almost too light weight and is gone within about 2 hours. I wish almay would create a slightly heavier, all day make up.

I do have to put some concealer on a couple of brown spots I have not been able to get rid of but, not much! I like they this smooths on and I cannot tell that it is there. Not a mask-like feeling at all. And the price is certainly better than other products I have used.
