This lotion seems to be a well kept secret because nobody ever knows what I'm talking about when I mention it. I used it back in the 90's with excellent results but lost track of it when the local drugstore stopped selling it. I have recently found it again on drugstore.com and am grateful to have it back. That stuff on my arms and back of my thighs called "chicken skin" disapppears with this lotion. Nothing else has ever worked for those annoying little bumps. I have also been using the cream in the jar on my face, and I can't believe how smooth and soft my face is now. Truly amazing. Yes, it burns a little on the face sometimes but really, for these results, who cares? If you can't tolerate it, stop using it for a day or two and then come back to it. Maybe every other day or so. It really works!

This lotion is great, and only Drugstore.com seems to carry it anymore. I use it at night after washing my face, and it keeps my skin moist but it's never greasy or smelly like some lotions. My skin breaks out easily, but not with this! I hope they don't discontinue this product, I'll keep buying it till they do.. I've been using Alpha Hydroxy lotion for the past 20 years, and people guess my age at 20 years younger. One caution with ANY product like this - Use Sunscreen! This product takes off the dry, dead skin on top, and reveals younger skin underneath, using fruit acids, but you can burn more easily too. Stay out of the sun, you won't be sorry. I do.. I'm 59, and people think I'm in my 40's. No, Really! I Highly recommend this stuff!!!!!

I came across this product a little over a week ago while doing some research about an issue I've been dealing with all my life, little tiny bumps on my upper arms. One of the blogs I read mentioned using Alpha Hydrox to get rid of the bumps. After reading that I did some research on Alpha Hydrox and came across the reviews on drugstore.com. I'm a woman that's over 40 who not only deals with annoying tiny bumps on her upper arms, but also with adult breakouts and fine lines on her face. Being that I'm combatting 3 issues (2 on the face) I wanted a product that took care of everything. Since I read such positive reviews on the blog as well as on drugstore.com about Alpha Hydrox I thought it was worth a shot, and the price was so affordable I knew I couldn't go wrong buying the facial wash and lotion. Before I started using both products I took a picture with no makeup on to see if I'd notice a difference in a week, in two weeks, in three weeks, so on and so forth. After using both the facial wash and lotion every single day for a week I took a picture and put both photos side by side and saw a HUGE difference, as did my husband and son. I really don't need the photos to notice the difference, but I want to keep a timeline to show how my skin is changing by using Alpha Hydrox. I've noticed (and I've got the pictures to prove it!) that my fine lines are disappearing, my skin tone is balancing out, the annoying dry chapped skin around the creases of my nose went away, the puffiness under my eyes have gone away and my deep laugh lines have diminished SIGNIFICANTLY, as well as my breakouts. I've also been using the cream on my upper arms, and those annoying bumps I've been living with all my life are going away as well :). Yesterday was the first time I put makeup on since using Alpha Hydrox and my makeup NEVER looked so good! So ladies (and gents) take it from me, you CANNOT go wrong buying Alpha Hydrox! This is the FIRST product that I've EVER used that actually does what it claims to do. The only regret I have is that I didn't notice this product at my local drug store sooner. Also a little goes a LONG way. You won't be buying a bottle a week. The facial wash will last you more than a few weeks and the lotion more than a few months! Some people have mentioned a burning or stinging sensation when using these products, but I haven't. Some people stated that the lotion and/or facial wash has a smell, I haven't noticed a smell. It also has not made my skin red. So what are you waiting for? RUN don't walk to your nearest drug store, or buy Alpha Hydrox here on drugstore.com!

I was turned off to Glycolic Acid skin preparations after an overly-drying, overly strong toner a dermatologist recommended years ago caused my skin to breakout continuously, with no end in sight. I figured an AHA was off limits to me but the fact is my skin is aging and I needed something to smooth it out. I was here on Drustore.com when I found this 10 percent AHA by Hydrox in a lotion base. The price is much better than competing products and with proper use it is gentler, too.

A word of caution: If skin is already irritated by a strong product such as a mechanical exfoliation (scrub) or an anti-acne product, this AHA-containing lotion may burn somewhat. For this reason, I recommend easing into the use of this product by using this lotion on alternating days, once per day, at least for the first couple weeks (after doing the manufacturer-recommended patch test, of course). By following this method I have not experienced any peeling or flaking skin, unlike other AHA-containing products.

With regular use, my skin is not so dull, imparting a fresher, more rested appearance. I appreciate that this product does not contain fragrance, nor a long list of unnecessary "filler" ingredients. I also appreciate, in closing, that a little bit goes a long way, smoothing on easily, and that the formula is paraben-free. Finally an AHA that simply works!

I USE THIS EVERY OTHER NIGHT. IT REDUCES MY WRINKLES AND SEEMS TO EVEN OUT MY SKIN. I DO HAVE TO USE A MOISTERIZER ON TOP OF IT BECAUSE IT DOSEN'T MOISTURIZE TOO WELL. WOULD RECOMMEND IT BUT NOT FOR DAILY USE.

This product is good to us to exhilerate skin cell turn ove, allowing fresh new skin to be reveiled. Excellent line of products. Just be careful not to use it around the eyes, as it may be very drying.

I can't use moisturizer as it makes me break-out but this stuff acts like moiturizer for me. I don't break-out like I used to after starting to use this product either. I keep buying it as when I run out my skin just doesn't feel right after using this for so many years.

I used to use this a lot. However, if ever you are eating with your hands or for some reason touch your skin to your mouth, this makes your skin taste weird. Tarte or worse. I have stopped using this because of that reason.

I have been using this for a few months with VERY SENSITIVE SKIN. I have noticed results on my forehead wrinkles alot. I also have roseca and very dry skin. It didn't make my roseca worse at all and my skin is very smooth!
