After a few weeks my skin turned a nice shade of red. The only thing I had changed was my cleanser. I use AHA, but not this brand. I really wanted to like this product after all the great reviews. I use the Somme Institute line and this was just too much AHA.

once you get past breaking all the little vitamen
capsules and the messy way it goes on, it is a great product.

be aware that your skin will get worse before it gets better. as it brings all the impurities to the surface. once you get the impurities out you won't believe how good your skin will get.

i also use the silk moisturizer, which is the best one of its kind i've found.

I'm a fan of the Alpha Hydrox line. The products are effective and reasonably priced. My skin gets a little drier in the colder months & this cleanser cleans my skin while hydrating it as well. The small beads are not for exfoliating, but contain vitamins essential to the health of your skin. You apply the cleanser to wet hands & rub together to burst the beads open, which they do very easily. I would recommend this cleanser, as well as other products offered by Alpha Hydrox.

I always have 2 of these in use. One at my sink for night time, and one in the shower for morning face wash.

I have very sensitive skin and a fragrance sensitivity - but this product is very soothing and is fragrance free. It is interesting how it has an exfoliating quality (but not like sand paper), but my skin also feels clean and moisturized when I use it.

This cleanser is a little more overdrying than my usual cetaphil, but I like how effectively it removes makeup and how smooth it leaves my skin. It is not a scrub, the microbeads are full of vitamins and dissolve as you wash your face.

Like the clean feeling afterward. I usually burst beads beforehand and they work fine. cleanse make ups well.

I love this cleanser, it gets the make up off the first time, rinses clean, and does not dry out my skin. I think the little beads are just a gimick because your rinse the cleanser off so I don't worry much about breaking the beads before washing. I just love how it gets the tough eye makeup off without drying or irritation.

Although I am very budget conscious, this product is worth the price. Quality is very important, and whether or not the product gets the job done. Both my daughter and I use this facial cleanser, and we love it. It cleanses thoroughly, yet gently. My skin feels soft, without the dryness of soap. I use Alpha Hydrox Nourishing Cleanser daily, and I've never had a reaction on my sensitive skin. I highly recommend it.
