I dab this on my brown spots morning and evening. In the morning, I follow it with a spf30 sunblock.
I have been using this for almost 3 months and the spots are almost gone. I am now using it on the spots on my arms and they are starting to fade.

I started using this product on a particularly dark spot on my face in mid-December. I saw in other reviews that some people found it irritating and I did experience that the first two days of using it. I was using it twice a day. It burned and made my skin red; but I found that by using a much less amount of the product, and applying it only once a day, the irritation went away. I used a very, very tiny bit and rubbed it lightly on the spot...no more irritation. You need to have patience to see results. The first month, I didn't see any lightening of the spot. The skin around the spot got lighter (making the spot look even darker!) and I contemplated not using it anymore but decided to give it more time. I'm glad I did continue to use it because the dark spot started fading about 3 weeks later and now it is almost gone.

I use it on my face, hands & arms. The spots I once had are so light, it's almost like they're gone, but it has taken approx 1 1/2 years to get to this point.

Do not use this product on acne. I am 19 years old and I have tried everything and I looked at the reviews of this product on the Ulta website, and OF COURSE all of the reviews were excellent but I found out they pay people to write alot of those reviews. I looked at the reviews for this same product on a different website and I found that there is a certain chemical found in this product that is apparently illegal and causes major damage to the skin on face. There were pictures of a woman who had bruise like marks on her face where she applied the product. I unfortunately read these bad reviews AFTER I already developed the same results. My spots were alot smaller and less noticeable BEFORE I used this product. Now it looks like I got hit in the face a few times and burnt with cigarettes. I feel hideous ;(

I bought this product after I saw a review on it on a beauty blog. I first got it to use on my acne scars and any other discoloration on my face but have started to also use it on my body particularly under my arms (which has gotten slightly darker from shaving). I have noticed a lightening affect both on my face and body. When applied to my face I use a cotton swab and place it specifically on problematic areas making sure to put a thin layer since this product can irritate my skin and cause redness if layered too thick, as for my body I'm much more generous.

I can feel some dark spots are fading. But don't use it on broken pimples, it really hurts...

I use this on my face and hands. Very noticeable sun damage lightening on my cheek bones after about three weeks. The spots on my hand haven't yet disappeared like the ones on my face, but I will continue using for a while longer just in case those are a bit more stubborn. This product worked for me.
