Alvita. Natural Herb Teas That Are Good For You And The Environment.
For more than 75 years, long before it became fashionable, Alvita was championing the profound health-giving properties of herbal teas. We travel to the far reaches of the globe for the finest herbs, the best growers, the most precious sources.
Small wonder that so many consumers trust the Alvita name. Today, it stands for more than 100 different teas, including classic single herb varieties, and our unique Alvita Blends. The package you hold in our hand combines ancient herbal wisdom with modern traditional science. And brings directly to you all the richness and benefits of herbal teas. This philosophy is the very reason why you will find sensible, English pillow style tea bags that are oxygen bleached. And why you won't find any strings, tags, or staples. We've even developed a new foil package, a recyclable innovation that keeps our tea fresher, longer.
We thank you for choosing our product, but more importantly, we thank you for the trust you've put in the herbal values that we all share.
In Shakespearean times, Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) was known as "Honey Stalks" because is was so liked by bees. Red Clover is one of the world's oldest agricultural crops, cultivated since prehistoric times, and has a long history as a religious and magical symbol. Early Christians linked the plant to the Trinity, and during the Middle Ages, it was considered a charm against evil. The four-leaf clover, an occasional variety resulting from mutation, was and still is considered a sign for luck. Red Clover was also the model for the "clubs" suit in playing cards. Among the largest of the various clover species, Red Clover has a celebrated reputation for its health properties. Red Clover has a delicate flavor that can be brewed and served hot or cold and sweetened with honey. Many enjoy Red Clover tea mixed with Chamomile tea.
Comments about Alvita Caffeine Free Tea, Red Clover Leaf:
I bought this tea after watching Dr. Oz. It's mild, but needs to be really hot for me. I add a little honey to give it a bit more flavor. It does make me a little sleepy, so I drink it at night. I do like it and it doesn't upset my stomach.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's weak. I've tried letting it steep longer, but nothing changes.

Love the taste!
Service and delivery comments:
Tea was great. Fast shipping and arrived in record time. Other item from this order was on backorder and took more than enough time to be notified I would not be getting the item and was being credited to charge. I wish I would have known weeks ago that the item was not being restocked. I would have ordered from another place that carried the items together to cut down on shipping and wait times.
Comments about Alvita Caffeine Free Tea, Red Clover Leaf:
This tea tastes great. Each day I either drink the tea which tastes good or take a supplement with red clover in it. It keeps my period symptoms mild and I notice a drastic difference when I don't take it.
The best way to make a good tasting cup of tea is by the infusion method. Place one tea bag in a cup and add no more than 6 oz. of boiling water. Let steep for 3 minutes and remove the bag. Press the bag before removing to enhance flavor.
