Ambi works wonders. I have been using it for years & it never lets me down. I have a habit of picking at my face & even though I know it's going to leave a mark, I never stop. (From time to time I get acne which is why I pick). That's where the fade cream comes in. I wash my face with the foaming cleanser, put a little fade cream on the mark I have created & tadaaa. It disappears. Only thing is it takes some time depending on how dark the mark is.

I got tired of paying for the overpriced Even Better serum from Cli...que, and stumbled on this fade cream, so decided for the price why not try it? Within one week, I noticed some of my older acne scars fading! After 15 yrs of severe adult acne, I have a long way to go but my skin tone is already 50% more even just two weeks in. A bonus is the exfoliating properties of AHA, which I discovered two yrs ago helped with my kind of adult acne. Since Ambi includes AHA, that eliminates a step in my skin regime. Also cured my chronically dry nose and chin. I apply it over a thinner moisturizer before makeup and at bedtime.

I like to use this product first thing in the morning and apply it before putting on make-up. I've been using this product for many years..recommended to me by a dermatologist. I'm very fair skinned and if I use it daily on hands, neck and face, I don't have age spots. Sometimes I have trouble locating this product.

This product was described as a lightening cream. I am a 38yr.old white female who grew up at the beach with no concept of sunscreen what so ever. I have some sun damage and a a few "dark spots" I acquired while I was pregnant. I did a search online for lighteneing creams and this came up. The price was ridiculously low, I think it was under $5.00, so I gave it a shot. A few of the reviews said it works well on African-Americans, so maybe I am too light skinned to see any improvement? I am far from "fair-skinned" tho, so I thought it might help a little?? Not even close. I applied this cream religiously, 2x's a day for 6 weeks, and I always put a little extra on the 2 distinct "pregnancy marks" I have on the side of my face near my temple...and got NUTHIN'!

I used this as a teenager to clear up my post acne dark spots. It worked wonders back then but since I deal with adult acne & dark spots this product ain't working. It also leaves a weird after taste in my mouth when I apply this to my face. It's like they changed something about this product then when I utilized it back in the day.
Also I have been reading things about hydroquinone and it's not healthy at all. So I am shopping around for discoloration creams that don't have that ingredient in it.
The plus side of this product is the sunscreen. If your trying to get rid of dark spots sunscreen is a must or the sun will make the spots worse.

I've always had problems with dark spots on my skin from picking (usually at my face) or scars & nothing has helped me to get rid of them quicker than Ambi. I've tried other brands like Palmers & Aveeno but none of them compare. It takes some time before you start to see results but it really does work. I love that I can use it on my face too (my face is super sensitive & breaks out or burns from certain lotions & creams). I also use the Ambi Complexion Cleansing bar which helps get rid of my dark spots.

The problem with this product is that it caused a "halo effect" for me. It made the skin around the dark spots lighter, and didn't really lighten the dark spots. Hence, the dark spots appeared to look even darker. I stopped using it as soon as I saw the change. I now use another product that is much more effective. It is more expensive, but it's worth it. The results are great, and I don't have to wait months and months to see them.

I have used it for about 6 months and it definitely has faded my brown spots. They are not completely gone, but much less visible.sus

I can't really respond to this product's effectiveness yet because it takes at least two months to work, but as I understand it, dermatologists are recommending it--that's good enough for me.
Also, the price is reasonable.

It took about two months, but my spots have faded quite a bit, not completely, but enough to make my skin look much better. It also moisturizes well so my skin is soft after use.
