I have used this product with and without the condtioner. I found this product to work just fine, however it not lathering was dissapointing in that I would expect it to do so being a professionalist product. I also have concern about product build up and with lack of lather I question if it is really getting my hair clean. On that note, the conditioner I would not recommand.

well i,m not impress with this product. according to money its just okkk.. as it says it makes hairs from normal to oily. actual it doesnt do like that just normal..... so i''d not preffer this to anyone

I gave this shampoo a chance, but it failed to deliver. I used it for two weeks and all it did was parch my scalp, making it rough with flakes. I also noticed a lot more hair fall. I looked at the ingredients on the back of the bottle and noticed sodium laureth sulfate, cocamide dea and sodium chloride as the first few ingredients. I looked into it and now know why my scalp and hair are in bad shape. It's because of those harsh ingredients. I also used their conditioner and noticed how it was difficult to spread over the scalp causing me to use an excessive amount of it. The conditioner is also a poorly made product.

Smells good and gets your hair clean. I have oily hair and an oily scalp (I guess that's the same thing). I have tried many products, and this is the cheapest that still does a good job. I live in the desert where the water is very hard, but this shampoo lathers just fine. You can get a giant economy size bottle of generic shampoo for what this costs, but you get what you pay for. Most shampoo smells like fruit or flowers, and companies seem to be figuring out that most guys hate that. I prefer to smell like freshly washed human, instead of all that synthetic odor. The smell of this stuff is very good, you can tell they at least got some guys' opinions about what it ought to smell like.
Until I find unscented shampoo that works well for my oily hair, I will stick with this.

This shampoo works as expected, but has not thrilled me. My hair it a bit longer, which causes it to gather more oils and dirts than average; therefore, it requires a shampoo with a higher concentrate of active cleaning ingredients. The smell is pleasant, and far from over-powering. I would recommend this to other gents.

This shampoo just sucks! Makes hair look dry and weak. The only thing I like is the smell. For some reason American Crew shampoos does not lather very well, therefore they lead to hair being ripped out from your head when you massage roughly.
