I have thick wavy hair and I really need to use a product to control fizz and create some definition. I've tried lots of different products, but I always come back to American Crew Forming Cream.

The key is using just enough and not too much. Too little might get applied unevenly. Too much is very heavy and really weighs my hair down. I've found the results are better when I use less of the product than I would think I need.

I use this product when I get out of the shower. While my hair is still damp I use a little of this product throughout my hair specifically at the ends. I let my hair air dry while I finish getting ready, and then I use a little of the firm hold styling gel to style my hair. The Forming cream keeps my hair under control and also prevents the gel from making my hair too hard, and crunchy.

This is some pretty awesome stuff. I hate hair wax that's too hard, and I hate goopy gel. This is the perfect in-between cream that works great on my short girly hair. I don't use it for heavy styling - it's more just so I can mess my hair up a little and get it to stay that way. And it does the job pretty well! Every now and then my hair starts to fall back to its original state (can't be helped since I have a thick, heavy head of hair) but I only have to run my hands through it a little to make it look spunky again.

When I use the product, my hair stays straight and controlled. When I don't, my hair is much lighter, but reacts strongly to humidity, and becomes curly.
