I use this product as a finishing gel over American crew forming cream. The forming cream keeps the gel from getting crunchy and the gel gives that extra hold for the forming cream. They work well together and you only have to use a little of each product.

This is a great firm hold gel. My 2 sons love it. I bought a cheaper brand a few years ago. Not the same, it's still under the sink. Worth the extra money to buy the American Crew brand. One has thick curly hair and one has less thick straight hair. It works very well with both hair types.

My husband uses this product everyday. His hair is very thick and short. He puts it in his hair after a shower and blow dries in a couple minutes. Stays great all day long without flaking. Highly recommended product

American Crew is about the only styling gel that my son will use. It is a bit more expensive but works great and well worth the extra cost.
